| From: Rajiv Sharma, TEK Inspirations LLC [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Sourcing Analyst ( GPO Consultant)Chicago, IL ( Remote)Job Description: STRONG BACKGROUND IN MICROSOFT OFFICE AND PEOPLE SOFT FOCUSING ON PURCHASE ORDERSEssentially, what we are looking for is this: a Sourcing Analyst (3-5 years) that has strong experience with PeopleSoft software the ideal candidate will have completed Purchase Orders (POs) within this software and should be familiar or experienced in creating RFP/RFI/RFQ documents. The Sourcing Analyst is essentially responsible for finding medical supplies from vendors and procuring them through contracts in large quantities.If they have that Blues experience off of a project with Blue Cross, that is ideal. But someone with strong contracts experience, PeopleSoft software, and health insurance or healthcare industry experience will be a good fit. If you find a GPO Consultant- even better!Here are some of the tasks they will be doing: The consultant is responsible to develop and maintain the project plans for the assigned initiatives; develop surveys and Plans/suppliers communications (PPT, write-ups, emails), prepare analytical reports and industry outlook for upper management. He/she must gather all business requirements to create RFP/RFI/RFQ document; determine stakeholders needs, write the RFP document, release/distribute to the selected suppliers, evaluate and re-evaluate the shortlisted suppliers by evaluating the Best and Final Offer (BAFO) and submit the final findings to stakeholders for their input.
