Job Title: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer Location: San Jose, CA (Day-1 onsite) Duration: Long Term Contract Client: Virtusa/Google Rate: DOE Job Description Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Developer is a hybrid of a business and technical role, needed to build SFMC for an ISP. This role will provide leadership in designing and implementing the correct solution to fit business needs. Candidates will work alongside internal engineering, product, program, and operational teams to complete projects. Candidates will be expected to write code on the SFMC and Salesforce platform in addition to designing and architecting. Be part of and lead the operations team to design and deliver high-quality, scalable technical solutions. Extensive SFMC experience is a requirement. RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage administration of customer communication campaigns across the cloud, in each function (Email, SMS, Push, Cloud Pages), leveraging Journey Builder to deliver multi-touch communications. Create standards and solutions to accelerate implementations and improve quality through the use of technology. Configure SFMC and identify custom development needs. Directly write Apex scripts and perform software development as needed on the SF platform. Collaborate with internal Security and Privacy teams to meet policy requirements. Collaborate with internal engineering teams to deliver API specs and requirements for an ETL that works between proprietary CRM/Enterprise platforms and new SFMC instances. Proactively identify and resolve problems including client data feed issues. Stay abreast of industry technology innovations, new business practices, and third-party technology solutions. Act as a consultant and technical expert on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud to serve client needs. Demonstrate excellence in understanding complex business processes and ability to apply scenarios to Salesforce Use Cases. Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed and maintaining quality assurance. Lead client-facing conversations, particularly requirements-gathering and presenting solutions. Ensure alignment of business requirements with Marketing Solutions standards and policies, and with industry best practices. Required Skills Minimum 4+ years experience in the Salesforce Marketing Cloud and good experience with Salesforce integrated clouds. Experience in a technical role designing, building, and executing complex automated email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud is required. Experience with API events, Journey setup and contact builder, is required. SFMC Email Specialist/Consultant/Developer/Administrator Certifications strongly preferred. Excellent hands-on experience with AMPscript, SSJS, and SQL, is a must. Ability to articulate channel dataflow and process flow including email, SMS, Mobile Push & SDK`s.
