Job Title: IT Program Manager Location: West Chester PA Hybrid This long-term contract engagement is an initial 6 months, with another 6+ month extension. Visa: USC, GC and H4EAD Summary: Our client, a global retail and ecommerce company, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated IT Program Manager to lead their organization's IT Transformation Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale IT projects designed to stabilize and differentiate the core businesses and expand the companys success in video streaming commerce. As the IT Program Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure the successful implementation of the IT transformation initiatives. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent project management skills. This is a hybrid position and candidates must be local to West Chester, PA and available to come into the office as needed. Responsibilities: Facilitate Quarterly Resource Planning / Sequencing Manage and maintain ITs Sequenced Plan for a 3 year long range plan that is focused on strengthening customer relationships, improving execution, reducing costs, optimizing the brand portfolio, and growing faster in video streaming space. Establish new processes/practices/cadences for tracking, reporting, and actioning on ITs sequenced plan more tightly from month to month Partner with Product and Engineering leads to ensure the sequenced plan accurately reflects capacity, demand, timing, and dependencies Leverage the sequenced plan and associated process to identify and manage critical dependencies Facilitate Cross Value Stream Collaboration & Governance Forum, bringing in a more data-driven approach to better enable cross value stream coordination Support IT Dashboard reporting Employ a continuous improvement mindset to constantly improve the initiative and resource planning and tracking processes Lead and manage the end-to-end IT Transformation Program, including the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects within the program. Define program objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with key stakeholders. Develop and maintain a comprehensive program roadmap, project plans, and resource allocation to ensure the timely and successful completion of project milestones and deliverables. Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, including IT teams, business units, vendors, and external consultants, to align priorities, gather requirements, and resolve issues. Monitor and track project progress, identify risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the program stays on track and within budget. Provide regular program status updates, reports, and presentations to senior leadership and stakeholders, highlighting achievements, risks, and recommendations. Manage program budgets, forecast resource needs, and ensure optimal utilization of resources to achieve program objectives. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment, promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the program team. Develop and implement program management best practices, methodologies, and tools to enhance program efficiency, quality, and delivery. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT transformation to drive innovation and provide strategic recommendations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience (5+ years) as an IT Program Manager, leading complex IT transformation programs/projects from initiation to completion. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and technologies Solid knowledge of program management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and project management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA, MS Project). Demonstrated ability to manage and lead cross-functional teams, including internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and consultants. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative and practical solutions. Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards. PMP, PgMP, or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
