Steps in configuring Tableau Cloud Server for migration 7. Data security from Tableau Cloud to Oracle DB 8. Local Authentication 9. AD Authentication Job Description: We are in the process of migrating all our tableau servers (AWS/On-Prem) to Tableau Cloud. We are working with Tableau and vendors to migrate our reports, flows and data sources to Tableau Cloud. Tableau Consultant needs to work with vendor and GA team to help in migrating content from tableau server to tableau cloud. Consultant will also document all the process during this migration process. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, Math, Statistics, or a related field. A minimum of 8 years of IT experience A minimum of 6 years of Tableau experience Advanced, preferably expert-level skills with Tableau Desktop, and Prep. Working knowledge of Tableau administration. Knowledge of Content Migration Tool and Tableau Cloud. Experience publishing dashboards to Tableau Server/Tableau Cloud. Responsibilities: Work with cross-functional teams to migrate data sources and tableau reports from legacy platforms to new Tableau Cloud. Publish reports from AWS/On-Prem tableau servers to Tableau Cloud. Optimize and troubleshoot Tableau dashboards for performance. Create and maintain technical documentation for all Tableau report migration work. Use Tableau Content Migration Tool to migrate reports and data sources from Tableau Server to Tableau Cloud in bulk.
