Job Title: Data Architect Location: Remote Job Description: Data Architect, you will provide technical leadership, data architecture, data analysis for key projects across by leveraging the latest data architecture concepts. In this role you will partner with business, data and analytics teams to deliver detailed data architecture, domain data models, discovery documents that will feed the Data Engineering teams. You will focus on data architecture, sourcing, analysis, modeling, profiling to help drive a robust, modern Analytics data platform (GCP Looker, Qliksense). Work closely with product teams, source data teams, analytics teams, and end users of the data platforms to provide leadership and consultancy. Role: 1. Technical thought and cross-functional leadership for data architecture between analytics and other data sources 2. Partner with product teams of the Data and Analytics platform to provide data discovery documents, and models. Responsibilities 3. Design the data integrations required to support Analytics use cases moving into the GCP Looker/Qliksense platform including: 1. Data sourcing strategy 2. Data flow design into client data warehouse 3. Determine and meet data transfer timing needs 4. Develop a detailed data mapping document for the data interface between the source and target data systems 5. Build and maintain a data dictionary for the data catalog downstream 6. Develop conceptual, logical, and physical design of the product data structures 7. Consult with Analytics Product Teams and Data Architect as they define, assemble, and integrate data based on Industry best practices for Enterprise Data Warehouse and meets client standards 8. Aligns to and updates client Enterprise Data Model as appropriate 9. Enable Analytics and the Data Ingestion teams to move quickly, by ensuring data architecture disciplines are developed, shared, and as part of Product Line delivery teams 10. Maintain a broad perspective of data available across the organization 11. Help guide data quality, management, security, performance and governance Requirements 12. 5+ years of experience working with an enterprise data management solutions and technology, including data modeling, data analytics, business intelligence, master data management, and data quality 13. Experience with large-scale, distributed systems design and development, including scaling and performance 14. Experience with developing logical and physical data models and with data modeling tools 15. Experience working with software development teams on complex projects 16. Experience in working with Agile and Lean methodologies 17. Exposure and experience with Architectural standards, processes, and documentation 18. Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate many services and a wide range of global business and IT partners 19. Perform at a high level of technical competence and maturity under pressure 20.
