| From: pradeep, Shrive Technologies [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: Data Architect Location: Remote Mode : Contract Job Description: Data Architect, you will provide technical leadership, data architecture, data analysis for key projects across by leveraging the latest data architecture concepts. In this role you will partner with business, data and analytics teams to deliver detailed data architecture, domain data models, discovery documents that will feed the Data Engineering teams. You will focus on data architecture, sourcing, analysis, modeling, profiling to help drive a robust, modern Analytics data platform (GCP Looker, Qliksense). Work closely with product teams, source data teams, analytics teams, and end users of the data platforms to provide leadership and consultancy. Role: Technical thought and cross-functional leadership for data architecture between analytics and other data sources Partner with product teams of the Data and Analytics platform to provide data discovery documents, and models. Responsibilities Design the data integrations required to support Analytics use cases moving into the GCP Looker/Qliksense platform including: o Data sourcing strategy o Data flow design into client data warehouse o Determine and meet data transfer timing needs Develop a detailed data mapping document for the data interface between the source and target data systems Build and maintain a data dictionary for the data catalog downstream Develop conceptual, logical, and physical design of the product data structures Consult with Analytics Product Teams and Data Architect as they define, assemble, and integrate data based on Industry best practices for Enterprise Data Warehouse and meets client standards Aligns to and updates client Enterprise Data Model as appropriate Enable Analytics and the Data Ingestion teams to move quickly, by ensuring data architecture disciplines are developed, shared, and as part of Product Line delivery teams Maintain a broad perspective of data available across the organization Help guide data quality, management, security, performance and governance Requirements 5+ years of experience working with an enterprise data management solutions and technology, including data modeling, data analytics, business intelligence, master data management, and data quality Experience with large-scale, distributed systems design and development, including scaling and performance Experience with developing logical and physical data models and with data modeling tools Experience working with software development teams on complex projects Experience in working with Agile and Lean methodologies Exposure and experience with Architectural standards, processes, and documentation Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate many services and a wide range of global business and IT partners Perform at a high level of technical competence and maturity under pressure Ability to communicate effectively with IT and business team members on a global level and negotiate solutions and drive consensus across platforms Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills Keywords: information technology |
