Time zone : In West coast (Remote role) Job Description - SAP Supply Chain Functional Analyst Desired candidate will have an understanding of two or more of the SAP ECC Supply Chain modules of SD, MM, LE, PP, and IMWM. We are looking for an individual that can build their end-to-end knowledge in the Weyerhaeuser Supply Chain space. As a functional expert of SAP, a core part of your role will include end user production support and system configuration, enhancements and project efforts. You will also assist business clients in analyzing business needs and planning enhancements to deliver innovative solutions. You will gather business requirements, conduct gap analysis, determine process or systematic solutions, compile documentation, and facilitate testing. Key Functions: Understanding in several of the supply chain processes in SAP; such as, sales orders, pricing, shipment cost documents, purchase orders, production planning, warehouse inventory management, and transportation. Provides guidance in assisting business areas in identifying current and future system needs and translates these needs into business process requirements. Implements business processes through system configuration. Validates that the system configuration is correct and meets the business needs. Identifies and responds to innovation that provides new business capabilities and/or creates process efficiencies for requests and projects Ensures accuracy, consistency and effectiveness of processes supported by system Performs root cause analysis on system and report failures and corrects system configuration defects Collaborate with business team to educate end users on new system processes Participates in transition/promotion of new or changed configurations using IT change management processes Documents system support process changes and testing results to ensure all development and change management audit processes are followed Escalation point for issues related to the business application supporting, including timely response to off hour critical issues Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS or a related field or equivalent education, training, and experience 2+ years of experience providing SAP system support 2+ years experience configuring one or more supply chain modules in SAP Desire to learn and support all SAP supply chain process areas implemented at Weyerhaeuser Ability to interact with business users and team members to understand problems, prioritize needs, collect requirements, and follow through with commitments Ability to conceptualize and recommend solutions to business problems and conduct subsequent gap analysis Ability to work independently under limited supervision Methodology to successfully implement enhancements Understanding of IT development methodologies Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple assignments and conflicting priorities -- Keywords: materials management information technology logistics execution South Dakota |
