Job Description:- Job Role:- Data Architect Or Modeler Location :- Jersey City, NJ(Hybrid) Contract Position Description: We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced Data Architect to assist in the data engineering teams analytical, strategical, and modelling tasks. You will work alongside the data, engineering, and business team to provide expertise on conceptual, logical and physical data model, which includes but not limited to profiling, validation and reporting of data. The candidate will analyse, profile, model data as well as help ingest the data, troubleshoot, and investigate data anomalies and/or issues while working directly with cross functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional business and technical teams equally efficiently, with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate data from multiple data sources Ability to communicate with business counterpart, gather and analyse the requirements Investigate and perform complex analyses on disparate datasets using data profiling skills and coming up with the best practices to maintain data consistency, completeness, accuracy, and standardization Make automation recommendations for the smooth ingestion, massaging and dissemination of data Ability to collaborate with product owners and business users to understand the requirements and incorporate the feedback in the system and process Collaborate with data analysis team to align the project deliverables with strategic data initiatives Ability to write mappings documents within and across datasets Strong cognitive ability to prioritize, streamline, implement and communicate data deliveries and risks Skills: Hands on proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, GraphQL Experience with cloud/AWS Experience with data modelling Familiarity with ETL concepts Creative problem-solving skills with result-oriented mindset Analytical, organized, and proactive mindset with attention to details Knowledge of data visualization tools, data dictionaries, metadata repositories Experience with Python or a relevant programming language is a plus Individual contributor with ability to mentor juniors if need be Excellent verbal and written communication skills in terms of gathering knowledge, impediments, hurdles, showstoppers, etc. Experience with Insurance business domain is a plus Proficient in MS Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint Provides the data architectural recommendations, without having to follow up multiple times Does not hesitate in asking questions to find the information, speaks up in the meetings Experience: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or relevant fields Minimum 5-7 years of data modelling experience Thanks & Regards Shruti Singh| 1Point System LLC Keywords: microsoft New Jersey |
