| Senior Network Operations Engineer Visa NO H1B/OPT Atlanta, GA- Onsite and must be local EC : Southern Railroad 24/7 operations center with rotating shifts every two months in an office environment with minimal remote working. Requires 5+ years hands-on experience with the following: Configuring and supporting network equipment including routers and LAN switches, 802.11 Access Points, firewalls (Cisco hardware experience preferred) Troubleshooting MPLS WAN, Multicast, HSRP, VRRP, AAA, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, QoS, T1/DS1, TCP/IP, VLANs. DNS, DHCP, using SSH to connect to equipment. Network Management Systems such as Microfocus NNMI, NetScout, FortiNet (Bradford) NAC, Infoblox. Additional required experience: Software-defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) Familiarity with Cisco router/switch/security network management products and platforms. Experience using network tools such as NetScout and HP Network Node Manager. Experience in originating, tracking, and escalating trouble tickets with telecom service providers and hardware support vendors Excellent time management and issue follow-up skills Strong problem-solving skills Good verbal and written communication skills Must be able to perform in a team environment with self-motivation and a good work ethic. Preferred experience: CCNA certification - preferred but not required. Cellular broadband/M2M technologies.
