The ideal candidate will require knowledge of Cognos Product Suite, including Framework Manager, Cognos Report Studio, hands-on experience with Java scripts and well versed with Cognos & WAS deployments. Job Responsibilities: Development, maintenance, Installation, configuration, and administration of business applications using Cognos BI 11.x/10.x/8.x, Java & JavaScript. Work with the supervising manager to address any application maintenance issues, single-handedly lead the development of Cognos applications Create, maintain, and enforce data delivery standards to ensure consistent information delivery methods across projects. Create project/delivery documentation such as deployment guides, release notes, Product Unit Test Recommendation Documents etc. Provides walkthrough of the release documentation to the deployment teams Job Requirements: 5+ years of hands-on experience Cognos Framework Manager, Report/Analysis Studio with Cognos versions 10.x, 11.x (11.0.13, 11.1.7) Cognos application administration experience is a plus Understanding of BI development standards is required Experience building reports, dashboard is must Good understanding of SQL tools such as DB2, QueryIt, Datalake Good written/verbal communication and inter-personal skills are must * Deliverable: High Level and Detailed BI Design Document BI Code Development Release Notes Unit test case and results Deployment guide Code Review results Requirement traceability Matrix -- Keywords: business intelligence information technology green card Illinois |
