Our systems enable us to execute algorithmic trading strategies based on patterns in market behavior. By building and maintaining this high-performance infrastructure, our developers have helped to position the firm as a leader in the field of quantitative trading. Responsibilities Designing and implementing a high-frequency trading platform, which includes collecting quotes and trades from and disseminating orders to exchanges around the world. Providing robust access to live and historical market data by leading development sprints and release cycles Optimizing this platform by using network and systems programming, as well as other advanced techniques to minimize latency Developing systems that provide easy access to historical market data and trading simulations Creating tools to analyze data for patterns Building risk-management and performance-tracking tools 5+ years of progressive experience developing software applications or HFT infrastructure. Experience with object oriented design and software development in a high-performance / high throughput environment using C++ (preferably in a Linux environment) is required Excellent attention to detail and accuracy and a thorough understanding of full life-cycle development and performance optimization / latency reduction methodologies. Ability to work closely with other software developers, traders, quants, and infrastructure teams A degree in computer science A strong background in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming in C++ Passionate about designing in-house trading systems that are robust, resilient, and extremely fast Brilliant problem-solving abilities Strong communication skills Knowledge of any other development language, including Java, Python, Perl, Bash or Shell scripts Working knowledge of Linux -- Keywords: cplusplus information technology |
