Are you a skilled Data Architect/Modeler with a passion for data engineering and a strategic mindset We are seeking a qualified and experienced professional to join our client's data engineering team. As a Data Architect/Modeler, you will play a crucial role in shaping the data landscape by providing expertise in data modeling, profiling, validation, and reporting. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of our data assets. Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, business, and data analysis, to collect, analyze, and disseminate data from multiple sources. Engage with business counterparts to gather and understand requirements, translating them into effective data solutions. Perform in-depth analysis on disparate datasets using data profiling techniques to maintain data consistency, accuracy, and standardization. Provide recommendations for automating data ingestion, processing, and dissemination processes. Write comprehensive mappings documents for datasets, ensuring clarity and alignment with project goals. Align project deliverables with strategic data initiatives by collaborating with product owners and business users. Mentor junior team members, sharing your expertise and guiding their growth if necessary. Prioritize, streamline, and communicate data deliveries and potential risks using strong cognitive abilities and analytical skills. Utilize SQL, NoSQL, GraphQL, and other relevant tools for hands-on data manipulation and modeling. Apply data modeling techniques and concepts to design efficient and scalable data structures. Familiarity with ETL concepts and cloud platforms, particularly AWS. Collaborate with the data analysis team to enhance project outcomes. Utilize data visualization tools and maintain data dictionaries and metadata repositories. Communicate effectively and transparently, raising questions and providing insights in meetings. Remain proactive, organized, and detail-oriented in all tasks and projects. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or relevant fields. Proven experience in data modeling, profiling, and validation. Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, GraphQL, and data manipulation. Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS. Familiarity with ETL concepts and tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset. Knowledge of data visualization tools, data dictionaries, and metadata repositories. Experience with Python or similar programming languages is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to provide data architectural recommendations and take initiative without constant follow-up.
