Three days a week onsite, Tues, Wed, Thurs, with Monday and Friday being remote Release Engineer for our high-tech giant client located in Sunnyvale, CA for a long-term Contract position. Responsibilities: Support/maintain non-prod environments and support CI/CD tools Support existing team in Build, Deploy and Release process for various environments like Development, Testing and Production Manage tasks like Branch cutting, tagging, versioning- Set up guardrails on Git milestones, labels. Identify and troubleshoot build/deployment issues within the release window during QA release cycle Execute release cutovers, plan and coordinate events and activities. Keep track of new bugs and issues faced during Build and Release via issue tracking tools like Radar and Espresso Troubleshoot issues caused due dependencies for maven builds Automate solutions and optimize outcomes, implementing continuous integration and deployment in a challenging and fast paced environment: Provide leadership in implementing a secure, robust and high availability DevOps pipeline Implement push button deployment at scale with zero downtime Set up guardrails on Git milestones, labels. Qualifications: 5+ years of Enterprise Release Engineering experience Automate build & deployment processes Support Continuous Integration Experience with Maven builds Experience with CI/CD tools Experience in Git/GitHub, GitOps, Git Branching strategies Available for on-call Support Keywords: continuous integration continuous deployment quality analyst California |
