Financial Services background experience from small - mod size organization Candidate will do an Excel exercise and present Notes from the Call with the hiring manager Client: PM across all projects More senior-level resources Managing projects at a very detailed level Nimble No custom-development Agile framework to manage at that detailed level Will need to create a plan and understand major inflection points Five to seven years of experience Someone who will thrive in an environment that can wear a lot of hats Need to get their hands dirty Business Analyst background + knows how to manage projects Have to be able to move fast Handle a lot of things at one Create order out of chaos + bring rituals Sample projects: framework across all projects first (what are the project on the radar | MS Planner | Finalize Toolkit) + migration from Ignite to SharePoint + creating ServiceNow instance + POC for AI + office moves Should have tool implementation experience In office 3 to 4 days weekly Individual contributor Will need to do an Excel exercise Interview Process: Cynthia (15 to 20 Minutes) + Mark/Lauren (Phone) + In Person (All) The profile of the right people for the job MUST: Come from a smaller or mid-sized environment (currently) vs. a large environment/enterprise. Be focused on project-based and adoption vs. product-focused projects (i.e., custom application development). Have recent experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Speak to everything on the resume in detail. Be agile and capable of managing oneself; no two days are the same in this role, and they must be ok with that fact and the fluidity of the environment. BA to PM profile is ideal because of the user/customer interaction of the BA role. Must have skills: BA to PM experience Able to manage a lot simultaneously PM of tool implementations Agile (nice to have for the right person) OVERVIEW: We seek a talented and organized resource to help manage projects and help with problem resolution. The Project manager will help oversee all IT projects and take responsibility for analysis and recommendations. Initial work will ensure that all IT projects in motion have adequate deliverable definitions, estimates, and resources to manage expectations and successful delivery. This candidate can lead a project and aid in problem analysis. The candidate will be highly resourceful with a strong attention to detail, a sense of ownership, a strong work ethic, and an open approach to tasks and challenges. This position will report to the CIO and be based in the Chicago office, with four days per week in the office required. REQUIREMENTS: The IT Project Manager/Business Analyst will need to demonstrate an in-depth understanding and experience in the following: Experience in leading technology projects in organizations that are nimble. Understand business needs and requirements and help turn those goals into detailed project plans. Experience in project management tools: Azure Dev Ops, Microsoft Planner, MS Project a plus. Experience in business analysis using data to support suggestions and conclusions. Strong data analysis and spreadsheet skills. Experience in quality assurance. Experience coordinating multiple internal employees and external vendor resources. Ability to quickly respond to new requests for immediate issues while also being able to drive projects to completion. QUALIFICATIONS: Project Manager with at least five years of experience managing technical projects, PMP, and/or SAFe certification preferred. Strong project management methodology background, work-plan development, schedule, scope, issue, risk management experience, change management, strategic planning, and analysis. Must have experience coordinating a variety of teams, including small engagements. Should have expertise in estimating project work and cost. Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills. Thoroughly and accurately understand issues and systemically analyze the problem. Experience in vendor management processes and securing qualitative deliveries from third parties. Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced, small IT department or the financial services industry is a plus.
