The individual will play a pivotal role in upholding the integrity, security, and efficacy of our advanced financial platforms and tools. As a senior member of our team, you will spearhead testing initiatives and ensure that our software solutions consistently exceed industry standards. We are seeking an industry expert with profound knowledge in both the domains of quality assurance and financial systems to champion our commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities: Process Establishment & Management: Define, implement, and continually refine QA processes tailored for financial systems to ensure efficiency and thoroughness. Establish benchmarks and KPIs to gauge the efficacy of these processes and drive continuous improvement. Strategic Test Planning: Lead the creation and management of detailed test plans tailored to financial applications. Ensure the test plans align with business objectives, technical architectures, and stakeholder expectations, providing clear direction for the QA team. In-depth Test Case Documentation: Architect meticulous test case documentation, encompassing various scenarios, prerequisites, expected results, and contingency paths. Regularly review and refine these cases to stay aligned with evolving system features and business needs. Bug Lifecycle Management: Assume responsibility for accurate bug identification, detailed documentation, and prioritization using tools like Azure DevOps. Ensure clear communication with the development team for swift resolution and validate fixes through rigorous regression testing. Tools Mastery & Integration: Proficiently leverage and integrate tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps to manage, track, and report QA activities. Drive the adoption of these tools within the team, ensuring they are used optimally and consistently. Test Case Management in Azure DevOps: Utilize Azure DevOps for the creation, management, and execution of test cases. Ensure that test cases are logically organized, version-controlled, and easily accessible for execution. Collaboration & Continuous Feedback: Maintain open channels of communication with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders. Use tools like Azure DevOps to provide real-time feedback, ensuring alignment and timely resolution of issues. QA Metrics & Reporting: Establish and monitor QA metrics to assess the quality and health of the software. Use tools like Jira and Azure DevOps for insightful dashboards and reports, ensuring stakeholders remain informed and engaged. Continuous Learning & Tool Evolution: Stay abreast of advancements in QA methodologies and tool features, especially within Jira and Azure DevOps. Advocate for the adoption of new features or tools that can enhance the QA process and team efficiency. Qualifications & Skills: A Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business Information Systems, or a closely related discipline. A minimum of 5-7 years of rigorous experience in manual testing, with at least 3 years dedicated to financial systems or applications. Profound understanding of the intricacies of financial systems, compliance mandates, financial reporting, and more. Demonstrable expertise in QA methodologies, tools, and industry best practices. Stellar problem-solving abilities, combined with meticulous attention to detail. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the aptitude to articulate complex technical terminologies in comprehensible terms.
