Panel video interview with team. 2-3 hours Top Skills' Details 1.This role will be two-fold. The person will work on existing projects as an SDET working with Java/Selenium/SQL/AWS and will also spend time on building out strategy and testing for new Blockchain/Crypto initiatives. Because of this, the manager wants someone who already knows the intricacies of central vs non-centralizing wallets, different test nets, and token standards. 2. Strong Object-oriented Programming/Coding skills. This team works with systems that are made up of over 200 algorithms. Framework for most is built in Java. This role will be a combination of back-end testing, some API and UI testing as well. 3. Candidates must have a Testing Mindset - this means they care about Quality and have Curiosity on how to make things better. Candidates ideally have a quality assurance background but if they have a development background, this way of problem solving will be the differentiator. Passion for problem solving -must be passionate about engineering, technology, etc. They like people who have github pages, contribute to open-source projects. As an engineer what are you doing to enhance your skills 4. Looking for candidates that have some experience in the Blockchain and/or Cryptocurrency industry; want someone that has passion in this space to help drive new QA projects/strategies. 5. Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, Mathematics or related STEM degree from well-known college/university Notes from the manager: The gist is the day-to-day work will be in the Big Data Space either on a team building data pipelines or in writing jobs on top of them -- but Im trying to go to a structure of having multi-faceted SDETs. Two areas where I have part-time need is in the crypto space as well as ML assurance. Id like the addition to have something in one of those two areas, and if they have both, even better.
