Do share me your updated resume on [email protected] Position: Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer Location: Manhattan, NY-hybrid Duration: 6+ Months Contract Visa: USC/GC only **Local candidates are needed.* We are seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer with strong AWS Lake Formation experience for a contract role The Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer will help design and build a cloud BI platform based on AWS Lake Formation to enable analytics, data science and reporting across product lines. Responsibilities for the Business Intelligence Engineer include: Work closely with development and product teams to migrate existing BI and reporting applications to AWS. Contribute to improving platform design based on your Lake Formation experience. Work on mining and onboarding new data source into the BI platform and model the BI data lake to help leader and clients make data driven decisions. Develop ETL processes and schedule jobs. Create and format canned ad-hoc reports, interactive dashboards, and data feeds for internal and external customers. Perform development using Python scripting. Work on migrating Synergy to QuickSight and integrating with Tableau. Required experience includes: 5-10 years of Business Intelligence Engineering Experience developing highly secure applications for data management and business intelligence. Strong experience with AWS Lake Formation, Glue, S3, Athena, QuickSight, and Synergy Experience building ETL pipelines. Experience working with XML schemas. Extensive experience with Python scripting language Experience creating and formatting canned reports and interactive dashboards . Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in mentoring and collaborating with other team members in an Agile environment. Experience working with a Secure-SDLC and implementing check points and processes for building and deploying code within that regulated environment. Experience with payment systems is a plus.
