If candidates have previous experience from Meta, please ensure they have 6 months break in service.*** As a Lab Infrastructure Engineer, the candidate is responsible in setting up, operating and troubleshooting a device lab for the AR group. The candidate will participate in debugging and root-causing test failures, remediation for automated tests, and bring-up new prototype devices. 4 to 8 years of experience in Infrastructure Development and Management in Test Lab / Data center environment Experience working in Agile Software Development models, should be able to investigate epics, create user stories for Infra deliverables. Proficient managing build systems (i.e. Make, CMake, Buck, Scons) supporting Linux, MacOS, Windows, RTOS, and AOSP Proficiency in network topologies and configuration, device provisioning and support Experience enabling and troubleshooting automated Continuous Integration - build and testing infrastructure such as Jenkins Experienced being in on-call rotations for monitoring CI Infra Experience working in Linux Dev Environment Knowledge of Firmware/Driver builds and build procedures Good to have - Knowledge updating device firmware on test prototypes, triaging device debug logs Experienced in Server Management in Lab / Data center environment from BMC consoles Experience handling Test Prototypes, Blade servers, Server racks, rack HW and equipment safely and appropriately Setup and troubleshoot Windows and Linux (Fedora, CentOS etc..) servers and workstations Experience using IT Automation tools such as Chef, Ansible to setup and push changes to Lab Servers Basic network troubleshooting skills Basic experience in Python, Shell scripting - Should be able to read and understand code functionality, fix issues in existing code and perform code reviews with the team Experienced working with source code - VCS such as Git / Hg, IDEs such as VS Code / PyCharm Ensure effective communications with peers, management and cross functional teams Meta Infra Lab consists of many small teams with 10 to 12 members working on AR Headsets development and associate will be part of the team to support on the infra side.
