Job Role: ADA Tester Location: Princeton, NJ (5 days onsite) Duration: Long-Term Contract Note: Its a day 1 onsite job (5 Days Onsite) Job Description: Skills: Automation using Selenium, Gherkin, Cucumber, JAVA or JavaScript and any ADA Automation tools Job Description: 6+ years of electronic communications accessibility analysis, design and development experience in large and highly dynamic environments Related assistive technology knowledge and experience with JAWS, NVDA, and/or Window Eyes screen readers Knowledge and experience on iOS and Android specific assistive technology like VoiceOver, TalkBack Solid knowledge of HTML 5, CSS3, ARIA, JavaScript, AJAX, as well as US ADA, Section 508, and W3C WCAG 2.0 standards (A/AA/AAA) Knowledge on performing Test Automation with usage of Browser plugins like WAVE, AXE and tools like AChecker Awareness of platforms from Level Access and DeQue will be an added advantage. Strong understanding of accessible user interface design practices and principles a mustbetter still if you can demonstrate experience relating to Internet or mobile usability/accessibility research. Extensive knowledge of electronic communication accessibility barriers, as well as strong organizational skills are both central to the position. Solid experience with MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel a must. Knowledge of Compliance Sheriff Strong communication, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills required. Strong techniques and methods for group facilitation and consensus building Ability to work independently, in a team, and with or without direction is imperative. Education: B.S. or masters degree in information technology, human computer interaction, or related field considered an advantage.
