Please forward your updated resume to [email protected] Job Description: ROLE:- Jr Epic Principal Trainer Location: Remote/Raleigh/Durham, NC CANDIDATES MUST BE CERTIFIED AS PRINCIPAL TRAINER FOR ASSIGNED EPIC APPLICATIONS Five Epic-certified Principal Trainers needed for a fast-paced EHR build for healthcare facilities operated by NCDHHS DSOHF. Experienced Epic-certified Principal Trainers (PTs) needed for training environment builds and training development for clinical and revenue cycle end user, super user, and train-the-trainer training. Candidates for each position must have or obtain certifications required for assigned Epic applications: PT 1 (Inpatient) - Must be a certified Principal Trainer for EpicCare Inpatient - ClinDoc (including Secure Chat & Rover), Clinical Case Management, Behavioral Health, & Long-Term Care. PT 2 (Willow Inpatient/Ambulatory) - Must be a certified Principal Trainer for Willow Inpatient Pharmacy (including Inventory Supply Tracking) & Willow Ambulatory Pharmacy (including Inventory Supply Tracking). PT 3 (Ambulatory/Wisdom/MyChart/Healthy Planet): Must be a certified Principal Trainer for EpicCare Ambulatory inc. Wisdom General Dentistry & EpicCare Link, MyChart Patient Experience Platform, & Healthy Planet Population Health PT 4 (Rev Cycle): Must be a certified Principal Trainer for Cadence Enterprise Scheduling & Prelude Registration, Grand Central Patient Flow inc. Transfer Center, PT 5 (Billing/HIM): Must be a certified Principal Trainer for Resolute Hospital Billing; Resolute Hospital Billing Claims & Remittance; Resolute Professional Billing & Claims; HIM Deficiency Tracking, Release of Information, & Identity Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI); & HIM Coding & Abstracting. Key Duties: - Developing role-based training content, independently or with team members, using a variety of software programs, tools, and applications such as Microsoft Office. - Designing, developing and maintaining instructional materials. - Maintaining policy and procedure documentation. - Incorporating feedback from others into existing training and training administration procedures - Learning new content and consulting with subject matter experts to develop training materials and answer any participant questions. - Assisting with building and testing of training environments (MST environments), and providing support and troubleshooting issues. - Collaborating with other trainers by co-facilitating classroom instruction and assisting with exercises as needed. - Preparing training lessons, printing materials, and setting up the training room and environment prior to the training session. - Presenting information verbally and in writing in a clear and easy-to-understand manner. - Following up with trainees outside of the classroom to offer additional support. - Serving as an expert educator to state staff. - Training and credentialing additional classroom trainers as needed (train-the-trainer). - Training staff and end users by teaching technical topics as needed. - Managing assignments by prioritizing assignments and by creating and adhering to timelines.
