Job Title: Sr Mainframe Developer *Onsite Day 1 in Tampa, FL - Hybrid 3 days in office (1-2 months remote is a possibility for the right candidate; please specify on resume when the candidate plans to join onsite) Job Summary: Candidate should be able to gather requirements from Clients, analyze the requirements and Test the code. The candidate should be able to contribute as an individual contributor. The candidate should have Mainframe skillset. Database skills required are - DB2 file handling. Exposure to CICS, REXX is good to have. The candidate should have rich knowledge of writing COBOL code from scratch. The candidate should be able to debug and identify issues and bugs in a code. Knowledge of scripting language and writing scripts is a must. The candidate should be aware of Agile practices, should have exposure to sprints. Experience: 10 years Required Skills: COBOL, Mainframe, Mainframe Utilities, JCL, DB2 Nice to have skills: CICS, VSAM, IMS DB, REXX Top 3 Must Haves: 1.COBOL 2.JCL 3.DB2 Roles & Responsibilities: 1) Analyse the Mainframe applications and work on Enhancements. 2) Analyse the existing and understand the functionality. 3) Document the business functionality. 4) Interact with interfacing application teams to understand the contract. 5) L3 support of application for production issues. 6) 5 to 15 years of experience in Mainframe, COBOL, DB2, JCL, CICS, VSAM, IMS DB, REXXYears of Experience:12+ Years of Experience Keywords: database Florida |
