Client will pay for Travel Expenses as actual Remote / On-site requirement / Travel %: 50% travel. 2 weeks onsite/ 2 weeks offsite. Also needs to be willing to do on call rotation, estimated once every 3 or 4 weeks, during on-site week. Weekly on-call hours: 5 Pm - 7 Am M-F and over the weekend. Position Summary: The PACS/RIS Administrator is responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of the Picture Archiving and Communications Systems (PACS) and Radiology Information Systems (RIS) including modality workflow, archiving, quality assurance of data, and other related activities. Works with the Imaging department to ensure Imaging Director, Radiologists, staff and all RIS systems are fully supported. This position will provide direct support for the Imaging Department including server and client hardware as well as application support. The position requires a well-developed understanding of client, server, network and storage infrastructure as well as the procedures for troubleshooting issues and performing routine maintenance to prevent unexpected downtime. This position will be responsible for a highly sophisticated environment that includes primary and secondary data centers. Required Skills: 3 to 5 yrs of experience DR PACS certification (NOTE: if they are not certified, recent DR PACS experience is key) Nice to have Epic knowledge Consultant needs to be willing to do on call, estimated every 3 to 4 weeks during onsite.
