Official Job Description: 

Using a salesforce CRM platform to enhance marketing, sales, communities and service capabilities to maximize our end user experience, member intake flow and better managing leads.  This helps us to improve the scale and drive efficiency to achieve a streamlined customer experience.

Our key goals are:

         Creating new enrollment services and track the enrollment process in salesforce.

         Sales generation, manage leads, and sales pipeline management.

         Supports line of business differentiation.

         Enables cross-sell / upsell.

         Provides 360 customer view.

         Salesforce implementation for mobile integration ability to support click-to-dial feature.

         Integration to an enterprise platform and external systems for synchronizing the data flow.

         Agents/Broker initiated enrollments on a salesforce enrollment Tool.  

         Broker self service capabilities inclusive of online rating and quoting.

Continuous Interactions with Product Owner and End Users on technical enhancements

         As a part of the Agile Development team maintains continues interactions with product owners for the enhancements in the sales applications as per business needs.

         Actively conducting Technical discussion meeting with the business system analyst and product managers to gather their needs and provide them the necessary possibilities in how extend the sales applications can be enhanced.

         Every Program Increment having the sessions with Business users as necessary to analyze project objectives and capability requirements, including specifications for user interfaces, customized applications, and interactions with internal Salesforce instances.

Design, Develop and Modify the Sales, Service applications as per the Business Needs

         To meet the business requirements and enhancing the user experience on the salesforce platform, working on writing apex classes, apex triggers, creating visual force pages and designing lightning components.

         Creating proof of concepts (POC) for the scrum team by demoing the salesforce configurations with something required to use the salesforce out-of-box features, visualforce, apex classes and methods and to maintain the lightning components; APIs like SOAP, REST, BULK and streaming API.

         In setup, continuous enhancements, and maintenance for the salesforce integrations for making the web services better to invoke the data from external systems like TIBCO, Informatica and market prominence.

         Write custom metadata API to take the daily back up of the metadata components. Maintaining the daily salesforce metadata backups for Reports, dashboards and email templates. Build a Java Standalone Application using metadata API WSDL.

         Rich salesforce wave analytics dashboard to monitor the customer service agent though put in a real time. Dashboard shows case statics, agent work load and track lead and opportunities.

         Within an active Agile team having continuous enhancements and deliveries Includes, development, integration, and testing by using different salesforce 3rd-party tools like data loader, BitBucket repository, salesforce Dx, Salesforce CLI, postman, DocuSign, and ant.

         Maintaining pardot for online enrollments and new member registration and pushing the data to Salesforce via pardot connector.

Develop and configure the Salesforce External Applications to meet the business Requirements

         To make the sales process easy and smooth in salesforce application, take an initiative to develop the critical workflows related to Sales and enrollment in Vlocity platform using OmniScript, data raptor, vlocity cards and integrated with salesforce objects.

         Creating extract and post data raptors for maintaining the data flow from vlocity applications to salesforce.

         Focus on the Vlocity insurance app exchange products to build the call center applications and CTI softphone integrations with the vlocity omniScript, layout, card, action, template & data raptor, and our application shows data from the data layer. Build couple of templates to show the data in a different UI Format.  

Salesforce Metadata components and Vlocity Data pack Deployment Support

         Configure Jenkins and version control system for the salesforce project for deployments.

         Handling the Bi-weekly deployments using Jenkins and UCD through Bitbucket repository, maintaining the change requests and attending the change control board meeting to provide the ongoing deployment details and provide them the quick demo on the enhancements.

         Using Advanced salesforce DX and scratch orgs for coding and VS code for code compare and metadata deployments.  

Salesforce platform maintenance, Production data maintenance and Production Support

         Part of Production Releases, working as a PCM (Production Release manager) by reviewing the Change requests, enhancements, functionality changes and providing the technical impact analysis to the business.

         With the help of Salesforce Bulk API's and Alteryx tool for salesforce setup the monthly Incremental data backups to use that data for report and audit purpose, data insertion for critical scenarios like mass data deletion, data loss or in case the data corruption.

         Demoing the salesforce quarterly release notes to the product team and planning the custom enhancements according the salesforce upgrades.

         Handle the salesforce service now tickets which are reported by the end users who facing issues in the production and make hot fixes as per the priority of the Issues.

         Actively using the Ad-Hoc system for fixing the high priority issues to make the end users work smooth.
