Job title: DevOps Engineer Location: Austin, TX (Remote) Duration: 12 month plus Visa: USC, GC, GCead, H4ead Client - State client This is a long-term opportunity in Austin, TX. Remote options available. Responsibilities include:Review and provide insight into updating the existing DevOps Architecture and provide recommendation, get buy-in and implement the updates to support deployments for all apps under the CRM framework. Validate existing DevOps strategy and tool set and provide recommendations to enhance tool set based on industry standards Automate DevOps deployments Requests in JIRA Administer and manage DevSecOps toolset Evaluate and recommend system and process improvements Assist with implementation of new technologies and/or technology upgrades related to the DevOps process Monitor application health and performance using APM tools such as Dynatrace or SolarWinds The CRM group supports and facilitates the implementation of all apps/projects in the CRM framework. Required Skills and Experience: (MUST haves) (Resume must clearly show the requirements and years of experience for consideration) 7 yrs. -CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines 7 yrs. -Scripting tools such as PowerShell, Linux shell scripting, Groovy 7 yrs. -Application Lifecycle Management tools such as Jira, Source code management tools such Git, Bitbucket 5 yrs. -Software development and deployment experience for apps using .NET/.NET Core/Java, NodeJS and SQL/Oracle 3 yrs. -Container (Docker) and container orchestration technologies (e.g., Nomad), container registries (Docker Hub) Preferred: 2 yrs. -Experience automating deployments for Microsoft Dynamics solutions 2 yrs. -Experience performing container deployments Previous experience with Jira Previous state experience Thanks and Regards .
