| Job Description For Application Architect As an Application Architect specializing in commercial insurance agency, your primary responsibility will be to design and oversee the development of robust and scalable software applications tailored to meet the unique needs of commercial insurance agencies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. Qualifications: Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as an Application Architect, Software Architect, or a similar role, with a focus on commercial insurance agency applications. Strong knowledge of commercial insurance processes, workflows, and industry standards. Proficiency in software development methodologies, frameworks, and languages, such as .NET. Experience with modern application architecture patterns, including microservices, API-driven development, and cloud-native architectures. Familiarity with insurance-specific technologies and systems, such as policy administration systems, claims management systems, and rating engines. Knowledge of data integration techniques and experience with data exchange formats, such as XML, JSON, and EDI.
