| From: Roshan, Triwavesolutions [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title - Data Governance Analyst (8/22) Location - Tallahassee, Florida Candidate must be local - Yes Client Company - Florida Department of Health Job Description Job Title: Data Governance Analyst Job Location: Tallahassee, FL (Remote) Job Duration: Contract through June + extensions Job Overview: Daily, and at the direction of the Department, manage communication tools (SharePoint, TEAMS, newsletters, discussion boards, etc.) to ensure users maintain the data resources that they need. Daily, and at the direction of the Department, maintain, oversee, and update metadata and data catalogs for the Surveillance Systems Section to facilitate data asset transparency and data sharing through information management. Daily, and at the direction of the Department, maintain data user training compliance for respective data source governance within the Surveillance Systems Section. Daily, and at the direction of the Department, maintain data user policies, guides, and corresponding governance templates and documents for surveillance systems. Weekly, and at the direction of the Department, collaborate with subject matter experts, management, and data stewards to implement data strategy, policies, controls, and programs to ensure data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable. Weekly, and at the direction of the Department, support projects that impact data migration and data governance. Weekly, and at the direction of the Department, participate in special surveillance projects during key events. Monthly, and at the direction of the Department, prepare and conduct presentations to inform data users of data policies. Weekly, and at the direction of the Department, facilitate, attend, and participate in team meetings within the Surveillance Systems Section. Monthly, and at the direction of the Department, supply periodic reports to management summarizing accomplishments and metrics within the Surveillance Systems Section. Monthly, and at the direction of the Department, document and maintain business and system requirements, implementation guides, metadata documents, and processes as it relates to ELR. Required Experience: Two years of experience working in data management, data governance, or similar. Two years of experience in managing projects. Two years of experience working with standards, regulations, and guidelines in data management or business processes. Two years of experience in metadata collection, data quality analysis, and data requirements. Demonstrated ability to resolve difficult problems and implement solutions/processes.
