The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and collaborate effectively with domain and technical experts in the team Summary As an Informatica SME, you will be joining a highly innovative Informatica Data Integration Services team that owns the entire Informatica PowerCenter suite of tools for a large enterprise environment with over 100 servers. We are looking for an Informatica PowerCenter expert with strong architecture and hands-on administration experience, who can architect, build/maintain, and administer a large, dynamic enterprise PowerCenter environment. Their large multi-terabyte data warehouse environment includes Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), Power Exchange, Big Data Management (BDM), Enterprise Data Catalog, Axon, PowerDesigner, and more. Leadership experience is needed in the design of Data Integration, Data Warehousing, and ETL projects using a suite of Informatica products and data warehouse tools to build efficient and stable data integration solutions for this Fortune 500 healthcare insurance company. Requirements Experience with architecture and complete design, build, and administration of Informatica PowerCenter up to version 10.4 preferably on an AIX platform. 7+ years of experience working on Informatica platforms, demonstrating proactive leadership skills. Experience building and executing project plans for Informatica upgrades and hardware additions. Strong knowledge of the architecture and best practices for a wide variety of Informatica tools. Configuration and troubleshooting of 3rd party client drivers (Teradata, Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server). Expert skills in performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting of system application software. Experience with capacity management, DR planning and execution. Responsibilities Provides technical and rotating on-call support for Data Integration Tools, including but not limited to Informatica PowerCenter, Data Quality, and other tools under the scope of Data Integration Services organization. Leads, designs, and communicates major and minor software upgrades, software proof of concepts, implementation of new software offerings and infrastructure, maintenance, and coordinates testing activities with project teams. Researches and provides recommendations for capacity modifications. Collaborates with project managers/leaders to document tasks and update status. Creates and maintains architecture diagrams. Informatica/Data Integration/Data Quality tools & UNIX troubleshooting. Designs Informatica/Data Integration/Data Quality Tools Security. Leads/participates/contributes in Internal Team Process Improvements. Enhances and/or establishes, implements, and maintains appropriate Informatica/ETL administration best practices.
