CITIZENS Background: Plenium is seeking for a resource to fulfill the role of ester across the complete software development lifecycle. The Software Tester's responsibilities encompass designing test scenarios for software usability, conducting these tests, and generating reports on effectiveness and identified defects for the production team. The goal is to conduct comprehensive testing of application functionalities, ensuring the delivery of a highquality product aligned with business goals and objectives Duties/Responsibilities: Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios. Executing tests on software usability. Analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability. Creating and executing test plans and cases to ensure software functionality, identifying defects, and verifying fixes. Collaborating with developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues. Conducting various types of testing (functional, regression, performance) to ensure software meets quality standards. Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the design team. Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems. Documenting test results, tracking defects, and providing clear feedback to improve software quality. Staying updated on testing methodologies and tools, contributing to continuous improvement in testing processes. Education and Certification: A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. General Experience: At least five (5) years of experience with testing in software development projects. At least five (5) years of experience preparing test plans and test cases that ensure developed application functionality meets business requirements and system goals. Must have five (5) years of experience working with quality control methods and tools and at least three (3) years of experience in verification and validation, software testing and integration, software metrics, and their application to software quality assessment, and a demonstrated knowledge of system and project life cycles. Experience in mid-scale or large-scale system development projects (including using test automation, test strategy, developing and executing test scripts and test plans) Ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Ability to produce clear, concise, and well-written documentation; must possess excellent communication skills. *Specialized Experience: Experience in quality assurance concepts and best practices Experience creating test cases and writing automation test scripts.
