Processing description: http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=544517&uid= From: VISHAL, PRANSUTECHSOLUTIONS [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Data Modeler Duration: 6+ months Location: remote Visa: or Skype Hire Responsibilities: Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models for ODS, MSR, EDW, DLH and PBI Datasets Document Data flows for critical data domains like customer, client, employee, product etc. Optimize physical data model to respective use cases Ex: DLH- Bronze, Silver and Gold Guide and support Data management strategy Identify existing data gaps and solution design approaches Collaborate with enterprise architects and present pros and cons of different modeling solutions Support technology roadmaps from modeling perspective Maintaining and modifying staging, data warehouse and data mart logical and physical schemas Maintaining and controlling schema definitions and meta data Establishing and maintaining meta data standards Coordinating with the business staff and the warehouse support staff in matters regarding meta data capture and meanings, schema modifications and enhancements Developing and maintaining technical documentation about the data Coordinating with the ETL specialist on data mappings and conversion rules Coordinating with the development DBA for instantiating logical schemas into physical schemas Identifying opportunities to optimize warehouse performance Data model version control Skills: Experience building data models to support operational and analytics needs Strong understanding of 3NF, Kimbell and Inmon approaches to data models.
