Job Title: Mainframe Developer (ramp up) *Location: Flexible -- preference to Hybrid in Brooklyn, OHIO; Fully Remote will be considered for the right candidate NEED 5 - 6 YRS OF EXP ONLY Job Summary: The candidate should be technically competent for any Mainframe work. Exposure to development in core Mainframe Systems Experience with Cobol, JCL, DB2, SAS Exposure to Job control language program execution Exposure to COBOL DB2 program coding Exposure to production support process Job Scheduling, Incident management, Problem Management Ability to investigate complex business cases and come up with an explanation by code. Strong exposure in system analysis, business analysis, Experience with analysis of customer data / records and identifying patterns. Experience with analysis of data flow in legacy code base and identifying problem areas. Experience with Agile Methodologies is good to have. Required Skills: Mainframe, Mainframe Utilities, Cobol, JCL, DB2, SAS, COBOL DB2 program coding Nice to have skills: Banking experience, experience in Commercial & Retail Loan processing area Top 3 Must Haves: 1.
