Role: SQL Developer Client: Sirtex Location: Woburn, MA Hybrid Prefer nearby candidates Duration: 3+ Months Interview: Video Visa: Any Notes: Not looking for an Architect, lots of premade customized reports and they will be running a ton of tailored reports with Excel power queries and need to be comfortable with running reports and like doing it They use SAP ECC6 as their ERP and the also use Salesforce. Knowledge of either or both would be helpful but not dealbreakers Strong knowledge of SQL Server Datawarehouse Running SSRS reports Excel Formulas and working with a lot of P&L reports Heavy SSIS packages in Datawarehouse connects to Salesforce They have an internal system that generates conversion rates SSIS captures exchange rates and delivers the files to folders and ultimately to SAP Migrating over to SAP S4 Hannah by 2024 SQL Database and MS SQL Server. Big Microsoft Shop. Not looking for Oracle experience. Specifically, Microsoft Skills: Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. (Does not have to have a degree if enough relevant experience) SQL Proficiency: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL is essential. Ability to write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views for efficient data retrieval and manipulation. Understanding of indexing, query optimization, and database performance tuning. Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and hands-on experience working with SQL Server Management Studio(SSMS) for database administration, development, and debugging. ETL Processes: Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to migrate and transform data between different databases and systems. Proficiency in SQL Server Integration Services(SSIS) for designing and managing ETL workflow. Troubleshooting and Debugging Ability to identify and resolve database-related issues, including performance bottlenecks, data inconsistencies, and errors. Reporting Tools SSRS Excel Power Query Strong communication skills Ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions. Experience working with SAP ERP is a plus. Experience working with Sales Force is a plus. Notes: Converting to SAAP S4 Hannah over the next year from ECC6. This person does not have to have the experience and will not be involved with the migration Microsoft Shop Processes of Data Warehousing are pretty messed up, as they should be sitting in the ERP, with an overarching BI tool.
