Integrate and streamline existing processes to create robust end-to-end build processes that encompass infrastructure as code (IaC) and application deployments. Employ industry best practices in engineering, code lifecycle management, and testing to ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of the build systems. Actively contribute to the design and implementation of automated deployment pipelines, leveraging your expertise in continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) methodologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, identify bottlenecks, and implement effective solutions. Experience with Agile methodologies (examples include Scrum or Kanban) required. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Extensive experience working in a DevOps role, with a focus on build systems and infrastructure automation. Proven proficiency in implementing cloud-hosted build systems, such as GitHub Actions and AWS CodePipelines. Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and experience with tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar. Demonstrated expertise in implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI). Solid programming and scripting skills including but not limited to terraform. Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker Swarm, Amazon ECS, Kubernetes). Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including knowledge of their respective services and deployment practices. Proficient in version control systems (e.g., Git) and code repositories (e.g., Bitbucket, GitHub). Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work effectively in a self-directed fast-paced, collaborative environment.
