Job Role: Business Analyst -Senior

Location: Remote (Frankfort, Kentucky 40601)

Duration: 1-Year + Renewals Each Year

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Submit and track purchasing requests for the Division's system Change Requests, software procurement and renewal, hardware procurement, and other miscellaneous requests using the Commonwealth's Procurement, Payables, and Asset Tracking System (PPATS).

Complete system Change Request funding allocation breakdown and invoicing.

Track software licensing renewals.

Review Delivery Orders in the Commonwealth ears accounting system to assist in invoicing.

Monitor the invoicing status of Change Request and other division procurements. Update Division leadership and other levels of management on the status of procurements.

Track, evaluate and report on the division staffing (contractor and state) payroll budgeting and spending.

Research projects and programs related to proposals and documents.

Perform technical and detailed writing, editing, and proofreading of required correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents.

Research, assist in development and/or perform technical reviews on federal financial proposals (similar to grants), reports, and planning documents within required timelines.

Organize material and complete writing assignments according to agency standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.

Utilize a combination of computer and critical thinking skills.

Maintaining confidentiality and the ability to exercise discretion is essential.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of recent, relevant work experience.

3+ years of
data tracking, reporting, and/or data validation.

Proficient in Microsoft Product Suites (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Experience utilizing time management capabilities, often ensuring compliance with federal and state deadlines.

Prior experience writing, proofreading, and editing skills.

Prior experience in a procurement environment.

Prior experience with ears, PPATS, Budgeting, Accounting, and/or Human Resource systems.
