Description: Connections Inc. seeks a seasoned Golang Developer with a focus on Azure integration for a 3-6+ month project. This role is a blend of Golang development and Azure cloud integration. While remote work is an option, candidates near Sunnyvale, CA are preferred. Work hours follow the 8AM-5PM PST time frame. Responsibilities: Lead Golang application design and coding, ensuring code quality, scalability, and efficiency. Collaborate with the team to seamlessly integrate Golang applications with Azure cloud services. Extend and enhance existing Golang applications, integrating new Azure-based features. Debug and resolve complex technical issues in both Golang codebase and Azure integrations. Implement version control practices using Git and Gitlab effectively. Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, utilizing tools like Terraform and Ansible for Azure deployment. Stay current with Golang trends and best practices and remain informed about Azure advancements. Qualifications: 7 years of professional software development experience. Proficiency in Golang development, demonstrated through substantial experience in designing and building Golang applications. Proven ability to integrate Golang applications with Azure cloud services, such as Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Azure Virtual Machines, and Azure Storage. Solid understanding of Git, Gitlab, and version control workflows. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform and Ansible. Experience with containerization technologies, deployment tools, and container registries. Strong grasp of Azure services and cloud computing concepts. Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across Golang and Azure domains. Effective communication and collaboration skills within a team-oriented environment.
