| Hi All, Please work on this position Position: SAP ABAP Developer with PLM experience Client: Federal Gov Client 100% Remote position US Citizens only Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer with expertise in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP ABAP development along with a deep understanding of PLM processes. As an SAP ABAP Developer with PLM experience, you will play a crucial role in enhancing, customizing, and maintaining our SAP systems to support our PLM initiatives effectively. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, functional consultants, and end- users, to gather requirements and understand PLM process needs. Design, develop, test, and maintain SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms tailored to meet PLM requirements. Utilize your in-depth knowledge of PLM concepts to provide technical guidance and solutions for integrating PLM processes within the SAP landscape. Customize and extend SAP PLM modules to optimize product data management, change management, and collaboration processes. Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, maintainability, and performance optimization. Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within PLM and ABAP development areas. Collaborate with the SAP functional and technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ABAP and PLM integration. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design to implementation and post-implementation support. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to SAP ABAP development and PLM to suggest innovative solutions. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor & degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master& degree is a plus. Proven experience as an SAP ABAP Developer with a minimum of [X] years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development. Strong expertise in SAP PLM modules, including Engineering Change Management, Document Management, and Variant Configuration. Proficiency in ABAP programming, including ABAP Objects, BAPIs, User Exits, Enhancement Points, and BADI implementations. Familiarity with SAP Fiori and UI5 development for creating user-friendly and intuitive PLM interfaces. Experience with SAP integration technologies and techniques, such as ALE, IDoc, RFC, and web services. Knowledge of SAP Best Practices and methodologies for ABAP development and PLM processes. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a diverse team environment. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. SAP ABAP certification and prior experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies are a plus.
