| From: Sonali, KPG99 [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: Business Systems GIS Analyst Visa: GC, USC only Duration: 9 - 12 months Location: San Bernardino, CA (Onsite) The Innovation and Technology Department of the County of San Bernardino is seeking Business Systems GIS Analyst under supervision, can work on the Countys Registrar of Voters supporting the progress of identifying, describing and mapping precincts. This position will be required to perform a variety of analytical and technical duties to support the Registrar of Voters Precinct update process using standard GIS tools/processes and the State-certified Election Management System used by the County (DIMS.net). Responsibilities Ability to read and work on GIS Maps, including parcels and base maps. Ability to execute Selection Queries in ArcMap Ability to use basic ArcMap functions to enter, edit and update GIS spatial data, including points, lines and polygons, and attribute data within databases or feature classes, following standard procedures. Ability to follow documented procedures to update street range address records in the Countys Election Management System based on updated voter precincts polygons to ensure each address record is in the correct voter precinct (Data Entry) Ability to perform quality control checks with minimal supervision to ensure data integrity. Understanding of how street addressing is setup. Skills and Qualifications Hands-on experience solving technical issues understanding of GIS, especially the Esri GIS Platform (ArcMap desktop product) Advanced knowledge of business analysis tools and methodologies, strong ability to gather business requirements, and develop associate functional/technical specifications Ability to perform quality assurance testing strategies, plans, and execution, including detail orientation and commitment to avoidance of errors Working experience with an Election Management System.
