Position : Snowflake Technical Lead Location: Remote Duration: Long Term Contract Consultant must have experience with Healthcare Industry Job Description : Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field, plus 7 years of work experience beyond degree This position is a Hub role, which requires an employee to occasionally come onsite to the designated office - Minnetonka - for applicable heads-up work. Frequency is determined by business need as decided by leadership. Experience managing and delivering complex data development initiatives and managing small development team. Strong knowledge of cloud Data warehouse - in particular Snowflake Must have experience at least with two / one end to end implementation of Snowflake cloud data warehouse Expertise in Snowflake - data modelling, ELT using Snowflake SQL, implementing complex stored Procedures and standard DWH and ETL concepts Expertise in Snowflake advanced concepts like setting up resource monitors, RBAC controls, virtual warehouse sizing, query performance tuning, Zero copy clone, time travel and understand how to use these features Expertise in deploying Snowflake features such as data sharing Experience with concepts Snowflake utilities, SnowSQL, SnowPipe Experience partnering with cloud platform vendors, Microsoft Azure and/or AWS Proficiency in SQL and Oracle PL/SQL is required - 5+ years preferred. Experience in healthcare environment - 2-5 years preferred. Informatica (5+ years) or other ETL (DataStage, Ab Initio, open source) experience (7+) years is required. Business Intelligence / Data Warehousing methodology is required (5+ years). Extensive experience with Health Care Data domain knowledge and process - preferred. In depth experience in running data initiatives using agile methodology - preferred. Certification in Agile methodology and ITIL foundations is a plus.
