Job Description - Title : Quality Assurance Analyst (Ab-Initio) Location: Hybrid- Chicago, IL - currently living in the state of Illinois, Duration: 6+ months CTH Visa: GC or USC Only BCBSA is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst with a healthcare industry background along with 5+ years experience performing backend SQL automated scripts in Selenium and hands-on experience in Ab-Initio Test Data Management Tool performing test analysis with large data sets. Were seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst with a strong background developing testing strategies and test plans in SQL, including functional testing, regression testing, negative testing, deployment testing , ETL job execution (Control-M/Control Center) testing, and performing error-handling testing projects. Our client BCBSA needs an Analyst with knowledge in SQL, UNIX, Control-M, Control Center, Ab-Initio ETL and Ab-Initio P-Sets work. The objective of the Quality Assurance Analyst role is to enhance BCBSAs internal reporting systems for efficient auditing of insurance claims toward external web-based and mobile application users. Must Have: client only accepts candidates who provides a healthcare industry background and they currently live in the state Illinois. -Demonstrate advanced SQL, UNIX, Control-M, Control Center and ETL (Ab Initio) skills is a MUST. -Ability to understand the code base by looking at Ab-Initio P-Sets , graphs (.MP) & XFRs is a MUST. -Define approach to validating capabilities. -Develop testing strategies and test plans, including functional testing, regression testing, negative testing, deployment testing , ETL job execution (Control-M/Control Center)testing, and error handling testing. -Work with business to understand the requirements. -Work with operations team to coordinate the build deployment and execution within the test environment. -Track Defects and report on testing progress and results. -Has required skills to mock-up and upload test data using Ab Initio Test Data Management Tool (TDM). Deliverable: Test Strategy, Test Plan, Traceability Matrix, Test Cases, Test Data, Test Results, Test Defects, and Build Assessment documentation Job Description: Responsible for developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. Involved in test planning, writing test cases and scripts, test case automation and test execution. Documents all problems. Individuals in this role will be experienced in building test strategies, test plans, test scripts, test execution, and defect tracking and reporting for data warehousing and reporting capabilities. This role requires exceptional communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently to meet all the target dates and expectations. Thanks and Regards.
