Position: UX Designer, USC or GC Only Location: Hybrid in NYC Duration: 6+ Month MOI: Phone and Video Responsibility Summary: Sune is developing a next-generation shopping platform that is aiming to revolutionize the livestream shopping space. As a Mi-Sr. level UX/UI Designer on the team, the contractor will help design a multi-sided platform. They will help develop our consumer app and website platform for sellers. They will report to our UX/UI Design Lead. You will also work with our product team to define the user journey, build wireframes and prototypes, plan and run consumer research and implement designs that improve our brand and enhance our platform. What You Bring: Bachelor's degree in strategic design, Interaction Design, Service Design, Visual Design, HCI or related human center degree 5+ years of experience in User Experience where you are conducting, and communicating the findings from user research for digital products and services Interaction and visual design skills required, including use of a diverse set of tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe creative suite, OmniGraffle, Sketch, and InVision) Experience conducting both quantitative and qualitative user research at all stages of product development Design expertise with a deep insight into newest methods, trends, and design operations Experience in Agile methods as a designer and managing design priorities within the backlog Produce high quality graphics and visual components Align team on complex product decisions while advocating the voice of the customer Scope product and service projects strategically with an understanding of product development processes What you will do: Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts Conduct concept and usability testing to iteratively validate and improve design solutions Track user experience metrics on the success of UX improvements, including analytics Conduct user research to discover insights, define user personas, and map user journeys Create distinctive, branded digital experiences that are desirable across multiple platforms, devices and channels Develop new product concepts, storyboards, detailed interaction designs and screen flows, and prototypes to explain solutions Create compelling visual designs that align to company and product brand standards Collaborate as part of an agile team to ensure designs are possible and implemented Participate in work sessions with partners and users to define important design goals and requirements Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of designers to bring end-to-end execution of product build and launch KEY Skills: Domain expertise Plan, conduct, and summarize user research and usability testing Experience with creating interaction design solutions for desktop, web and mobile applications Visual design skills, able to create compelling, branded, high-fidelity product screens Familiar working with design systems that scale across platforms Agile/Digital Experience Hands-on experience designing consumer applications for desktop, web, and mobile Experience working in design teams in an Agile product development setting Individual Skills Experience conducting user research at multiple stages of the design process Experience explaining the value of a design choice to users and non-designer partners Produce high quality creative solutions Combined skills in 2 of 3 of the following: User Research, Interaction Design, Visual Design Mindset & Behaviors Combine abstract ideas into solutions for design Is passionate about solving problems through design See value in taking an iterative design approach Proactively advocates for the end-user Open to taking on new challenges and learning new skills Keywords: user interface user experience green card Michigan |
