Must-have skills: .net, xml, javascript, css, html, sql server, SSRS, Visual Studio, systems and processes for managing pension plans,
DPAS ("Depot Property Accountability System").

Additional information: The candidate should be able to provide an ID if the interview is requested, to guarantee the Client that the candidate submitted, interviewing and showing up for work is one and the same

Requirements:

Availability to work at the Clients site in Charleston, WV (required);

Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 (2+ years);

Experience with VB.NET (2+ years);

Experience with XML (2+ years);

Experience with ASP.NET (2+ years);

Experience with CSS (2+ years);

Experience with HTML (2+ years);

Experience with JavaScript (2+ years);

Experience with SQL Server 2016 (2+ years);

Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) (2+ years);

Experience developing and optimizing Pension Administration solutions (2+ years);

Experience optimizing and developing .Net Framework Batches (2+ years);

Experience with State of West Virginias DPAS Solution (2+ years);

Experience with State Government (2+ years);

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university in computer science or related field including.

Responsibilities
:

 Making required code changes to modify/enhance COMPASS to meet the ongoing operational needs of the agency;

Utilizing Visual Studio to track code change requests, source code versioning, and document changes to source code as well as related design documents. These code changes can include changes to the Database utilizing SQL Server 2016;

Assisting other team members in troubleshooting application related issues. Developers must be able to collaborate virtually as well as handoff tasks as required;

Working with the IT team to complete all assigned code change requests within the monthly deployment time frames This means all new code has been unit tested and documented by the contractors and results validated with a business user prior to deployment;

Working with the Business Team to complete issue triage. This means actively responding to assigned Code change requests, identifying specific occurrences of issues, reviewing documented samples of an issue and actively seeking out a code fix if applicable.
