Role: Azure Cloud Architect Location: Cranberry, NJ (Remote) Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to join Visionet Cloud competency. As an Azure Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for Architecting, designing, implementing, and managing the cloud infrastructure and services on Microsoft Azure. You will work closely with customers, cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and security professionals, to ensure the successful design, deployment and operation of cloud-based solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of Azure services, architecture design principles, DevOps skills, and best practices in implementing cloud services and solutions. Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into Azure cloud solutions. Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures on Microsoft Azure. Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams on Azure best practices and design patterns. Evaluate existing infrastructure and applications for cloud migration readiness, and develop migration strategies. Configure and manage Azure services such as virtual machines, virtual networks, storage accounts, databases, Security services, Data & Analytics services Implement automation and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform, Python, Azure DevOps/Github actions and PowerShell. Ensure the security and compliance of cloud infrastructure, including identity and access management, data protection, and network security. Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and cost efficiency of Azure resources. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications. Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in Azure cloud computing. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Cloud Architect, specifically with Microsoft Azure Microsoft Azure certifications, such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, are desirable. Strong knowledge of Azure services, including compute, networking, storage, and databases, Big Data, Integration Experience designing and implementing cloud architectures for enterprise-scale applications. Proficiency in DevOps ecosystem including scripting and automation Knowledge of cloud security best practices and experience implementing security controls in Azure. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
