Experience: 7 + Years Description: This team member's primarily responsibility is to learn/understand/update logical expressions based in our proprietary syntax which allows Configuration Engineers to modify logical expressions through our Product Catalog (e.g., Configuration Tool) and Publish to Test and Production environments real-time in order to meet project/business rules and goals. Secondary and enabling responsibilities include: Build and maintain a Configuration Engineer Project Playbook (e.g., a project focused document which thoroughly describes how to turn ON/OFF project level features and how to run custom reporting to assure solution performance). This playbook serves as a guide for the Configuration Engineer to perform their work function, but also allows to share the project domain knowledge across the team (e.g., effective guide to backfill/support team when key project team members are away). Lead the Configuration Engineer changes in our Test Environments to support our eCommerce Application and Affiliate Partner Teams integration with new Project features. Build strong cooperative relationships with our other two Configuration Engineers to learn, share and support each other's work (e.g.. Todd Reis and Suddhasish Roy). Both of them have 7-10 years' experience in this space and together full fill this role in our Production environments. Frequently volunteer assistance to troubleshoot and resolve daily observed Automation issues so that this team member can both learn through this highly collaborative environment and support/grow cooperative relationships with other key team members. Qualifications/Skills Proficiency in Learning new languages quickly (e.g., syntax from homegrown solution) Expressing complex logical expressions in highly simplified patterns Splunk/New Relic logging analysis SQL and reporting tools Data driven decisioning Profile Self-starter, self-motivated Problem solving and owning the solution Excellent communication skills Prior experience as a TA/BA/Product Owner are preferred.
