Certified Project Manager- Hybrid State of VA Location: Richmond, VA- LOCALS ONLY 6 months GC EAD with Back Copy, H4 EAD, GC and USC Video Need Full Education with Year and Visa/DL Copies Must have LinkedIn JOB DESCRIPTION: The client is looking to hire a Project Manager to assist our ePMO department in the overall department project management. The Project Manager designs, plans, and coordinates work teams from different divisions within the client. The clientworks with an Agile Framework, and familiarity with those methodologies is a plus. Candidate will follow standard project management industry practices such as the PMI's framework. Understand business and technical objectives of a project and work closely with project sponsor. Create project charter and work plan and tracks budget and schedule progress via appropriate metrics. Establishes project organization and methodologies and defines roles and responsibilities. Documents risks and develops mitigation plans. Manages Product. Creates and implements a communication plan. Builds an effective team, assigns tasks to team members, and evaluates outcomes. Negotiates resources. Communicates to stakeholders and project sponsor. Identifies, tracks, and ensures resolution of issues and removal of barriers. Requirement: Bachelors degree in information systems OR an equivalent combination of education and experience Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or successful completion of the VITA Project Manager Development Program within 1 year of the start Minimum of two years of project experience Required 2 Years Minimum of 1 year of experience with Agile or Hybrid Methodologies (Kanban, Scrum, etc.) Required 1 Years Knowledge and experience with the Waterfall delivery methodology Required 1 Years Experience collaborating with information technology professionals throughout the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Required 3 Years Experience facilitating cross functional discussions and gaining consensus Required 3 Years Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Planview, MS Project Required 3 Years Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Gmail, Google Sheets, GSuite Required 5 Years Understanding of the procurement process and contract administration activities Required 3 Years Experience leading organizational change within the public sector Highly desired 3 Years. Experience with Commonwealth of Virginia (COV) and/or Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA) policies, procedures, and project management Highly desired 3 Years Experience with Elections on a Local or State Level Nice to have 1 Years.
