Position: Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) Techno Functional Consultant Location: San Ramon, CA 94583 (Possibility of Remote Work) Contract Duration: 12 months Note: This JD is not for Vanilla Oracle DBA profiles; Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) experience is required. Job Details: As a Technical Expert with 6-8 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (CC&B): In-depth understanding of product architecture, data model, and Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF). Proficient in OUAF (Oracle Utilities Application Framework). Strong grasp of regulated and deregulated electricity markets, their business processes, and regulations. Functional expertise in Oracle Utilities CC&B with comprehensive knowledge of Oracle Utilities products. Extensive knowledge of CC&B modules including Billing, Rates, Customer Information, Field Orders, Metering, Credit, and Collections. Responsibilities: Analyze CC&B, CRCR, MDMS for Table Space optimization and space improvement. Formulate solution approaches for implementing improvement opportunities and translate them into working solutions. Participate in project implementation activities, including business requirement gathering, solution design development, system documentation, testing, and cutovers. Engage in post-implementation production support to meet Service Level Agreement targets. Requirements: A total of 5-6 years of Oracle CC&B experience. Strong experience in Oracle CC&B with a focus on Production Support and Implementation. Exposure to Oracle C2M, Oracle Utility Analytics (CRCR), and MDMS products, along with experience in purging/archiving/tiering large > 50 TB databases (preferred). Solid functional knowledge of Oracle CC&B. Proficiency in resolving user queries, incidents in the application, and supporting minor release rollouts. Experience working with external interfaces to 3rd party benefits and integrations. Proven ability to initiate corrective and Root Cause Analysis actions to ensure permanent issue resolution and improved application availability. B.S. Degree or 4+ years of relevant experience.
