As a Lead Applications Developer you will help build and deliver a new enterprise API platform and web applications while leveraging cloud hosted technologies. You will be involved in all aspects of the development process including designing, configuring, modifying, and debugging. You will also be involved in the evaluation of various microservices and API's. Occasionally you will be assisting in non-programming aspects of the development process including definition of user requirements, testing, deployment, documentation, and support. Minimum (must have): Experience building and supporting back-end web services: APIs (REST), Swagger, Postman, and contributing to microservice design. Angular or similar front end experience. Agile software development including scrum and test-driven development. Experience with object-oriented programming. Ability to use problem solving skills to resolve technical issues. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Demonstrates general understanding of full software development life cycle and code management principles. Ability to work and integrate with multiple teams. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience. Must have Lead Java Development work experience. Experience in data warehouse development using at least some of the following tools: SQL, Oracle, Linux/UNIX, IBM DataStage (Infosphere), and/or Java (Spring). Basic experience with data modeling including entity relationship and dimensional models. Data profiling and data analysis with SQL. Experience with agile project methodologies including Agile, SCRUM, and Kanban. Experience building and supporting back-end web services: APIs (REST), Swagger, Postman, and contributing to microservice design.
