Job Title: Java Developer Location: NYC, NY- Hybrid (Local or nearby only) Duration: 12+ Months Visa: USC & GC only Key Responsibilities Take ownership of the Java environment and contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle. Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance Act as subject matter expert in the code, mentor team members, set standards and best practices, focusing in quality and continuous delivery. Knowledge/Experience A graduate level education with a focus on either: computer science, mathematics, engineering 5+ years of Java experience, with in depth knowledge of the Spring Framework and java internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc) Ability to implement efficient software to handle large quantities of data (billions of rows) and real-time streaming data (millions of messages per day).
