East Coast, Central candidate only. Purpose of the Position: As a Senior Cloud Data Engineer, this position requires candidate who are enthusiastic about data and driven to help in organization's AI & Analytics challenges. As a member of the team, you will help our clients on their data and analytics journey, by building data pipelines, improving consistency, and building the necessary infrastructure to support their analytics platform. Work and Technical Experience: Strong understanding of cloud and data engineering concepts in AWS. Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and build out new API integrations to support continuing increases in data volume and complexity. Knowledge of containerization services such as Dockers and its orchestration through Kubernetes Strong Understanding of ETL concepts. Strong Programming Skills for Python (Pyspark), SQL. Experience in building end to end data integration jobs using AWS Glue Good Expertise in AWS services like Athena Tables, Glue Jobs, S3, secretes etc. Strong understanding of Snowflake DW. Experience in CICD Integration using Git actions, Jupiter notebook. Good expertise on big data services such as Hive, Spark etc. Collaborates with analytics and business teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools, increasing data accessibility and fostering data-driven decision making across the organization. Implements processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes that depend on it. In depth knowledge of key cloud services for data integration, BI and data processing services In depth knowledge of cloud storage services & compute services Performs data analysis required to troubleshoot data related issues and assist in the resolution of data issues. Works closely with a team of frontend and backend engineers, product/project managers, and analysts. Qualifications : Overall work experience of 8-10 years with minimum of 4 years experience on AWS related projects. Bachelor Engineering Degree or business-related functional discipline Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies Qualities: Can influence and implement change; demonstrates confidence, strength of conviction and sound decisions. Believes in head-on dealing with a problem; approaches in logical and systematic manner; is persistent and patient; can independently tackle the problem, is not over-critical of the factors that led to a problem and is practical about it; follow up with developers on related issues. Able to consult, write, and present persuasively. Able to work in a self-organized and cross-functional team. Able to iterate based on new information, peer reviews, and feedback. Able to work seamlessly with clients across multiple geographies. Research focused mindset. Proficiency in English (read/write/speak) and communication over email.
