Job Title: BSA/Scrum Master Duration: 6+ months Location: Remote Visa: USC, GC H4 & H1B Team: IT Modernization Enterprise Cost and Pricing System (ECPS) Skills Required: 5 9 years business system analysis / scrum master experience in systems analysis 5 9 years business system analysis / scrum master experience planning, organizing, and managing all activities associated with delivering solutions in a large-scale distributed environment 5 9 years business system analysis / scrum master experience analyzing problems and translating into solutions 5 9 years business system analysis / scrum master experience working with enterprise database management system (e.g., SQL server, Oracle) 5 9 years of experience working in Agile/Scrum/Kanban 5 9 years agile requirements management experience including user story creation Strong working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) with the ability to work within the defined roles and responsibilities Strong experience within software engineering, specifically DevOps and modern web application architectures, Cloud migration projects, micro-services architectures, big data projects, application modernization/application dev/mainframe modernization engagements and running modernization projects, and large-scale cloud migration projects. Experience in identifying and supporting process improvements. Experience working as a Scrum Master within an Agile/Scrum framework and its application in product development and delivery Experience working in an Agile/Scrum methodology through the software development life cycle with multiple Cloud development teams in pre-production and production Experience utilizing Agile project management and code management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps or Jira) Experience working with several technical teams to understand requirements, then breaking down those requirements into epics/features/stories on Azure DevOps Experience performing data analysis by creating and executing queries, interpreting results, and communicating findings to technical and non-technical audiences Experience and knowledge of project and problem management, change management, and other systems development processes Experience supporting data and process governance of distribution system compliance in accordance with company policies and standards Experience working for large company and within a matrix organization Good understanding of cloud solution architecture patterns and design principles, of different attributes for cloud application availability and scalability, and the ability to propose optimized design for cloud Basic concepts of Item/Product master data in Retail and/or Manufacturing industry domain Knowledge of infrastructure, related systems client/server, workstations, and severs Passion for creating and enjoyable and productive team environment Demonstrate multi-tasking and time management skills to manage workload, to drive the work of others, and to adhere to deadlines and high quality Active involvement with solutions and delivery decisions with architects, cloud engineers, cloud specialist, and DevOps engineers Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Scrum Master certification, preferred Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skillset Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related analytical field or equivalent experience is preferred Special Qualifications: Strong knowledge of Azure, preferred Possess at least one for the following Agile certifications: PSM, CSM Responsibilities: Work closely with management on project planning, resource allocation and vendor management Lead a team on small-to-large effort across all aspects of the SDLC Work independently and within a team environment to complete development efforts Communicate effectively with business team members Proactively communicate with management and the team on issues and/or any system changes Document current and proposed business processes and/or business rules Document technical design models, specifications, and test results Serve as an application expert on assigned application(s) Coordinate and facilitate and/or coach Scrum team members to facilitate Scrum events, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews, product demos, and sprint retrospectives BE a servant leader on Scrum teams delivering high value increments of work following Agile/Scrum Methodologies Work with Product Owners to align Scrum team activities deliverables with Stakeholders release plan and sprint goals Protects the Scrum team members from interruptions Help the Scrum teams to collaborate and communicate effectively within the team and across the Scrum teams Owns the impediment removal process and escalates to the appropriate team member or manager for review and resolution Track and communicate Scrum team velocity, team capacity, team productivity, and related team planning and performance metrics via dashboards and radiators Champion continuous improvement activities across the Scrum teams to increase productivity and reduce waste Provide Agile/Scrum coaching to Scrum team and team members Support the Development Team with the Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) process Ensure Scrum Teams are practicing core Agile principles Amit Vikal (AV) Thoth IT LLC -- Keywords: continuous integration continuous deployment information technology green card |
