Client is NTT for a tobacco company in Richmond VA. Technical Requirements (skills / experiences) for the L2 Engineer role: Contract Duration: 3 Years+ Must be on-site, no remote. Richmond, VA. Experience in Network Operations Monitoring and meeting SLA requirements Knowledge of Industrial Ethernet networking used in manufacturing environments Minimum of 4 years of experience working with a TCP/IP network Must have a minimum certification or equivalent experience to CCNA Level or better (Hands on Experience is requiredTo include Routing, Switching, and Firewall Security ITIL knowledge/certification preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication is a must have Strong customer service skills. Good temperament, ability to handle stressful situations, and provide customer-facing support in a professional manner. Strong analytical skills, able to use complex data to find opportunities, recognize problems and draw logical conclusions. Experience with Ticket management systems such as Service Now Experience with (Change Advisory Board) CAB processes and procedures Has hands-on experience in configuring Cisco Switches including NexOS, Stratix 5700s, 9300s 9400s and 9500 Switches Experience with monitoring tools to include Solar winds and IPAM for example Must have a minimum certification or equivalent experience to CCNA Level or better (Hands on Experience is required)To include Routing, Switching, and Firewall Security ITIL knowledge/certification preferred.
