Role:-PeopleSoft Senior Campus Solutions Technical Developer Location:-REMOTE 8+ years. 24 months contract. 2 years of experience in the higher education industry and/or public sector. Project Description: CIS needs to supplement its small Application Development team with a consulting resource possessing skillset in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions. Day to day tasks to be performed by the Consultant: 1. Identifies and develops custom applications based on analysis of user/owner needs; analyzes, identifies and implements requested upgrades, enhancements, and changes to PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Pillars. 2. Participates in business process analysis, systems analysis, systems design, development, testing, deployment, and support; performs (full life cycle) software development 3. Work on all project phases particularly Project Initiation, but also Fit/Gap Analysis, Setup, Development and Testing 4. Create and execute unit and system integration tests to validate new or changed code; document errors and resolves defects 5. Using standard PeopleSoft development tools and other software as needed (e.g., Application Designer, Application Engine, SQR, Application Messaging, Component Interfaces, PeopleSoft, BI Publisher), identify, implement and maintain custom application based on analysis of user/owner needs 6. Complete tasks efficiently and in a timely manner 7. Create documentation needed to support new development 8. Integrate with Oracle Identity Management System using People Integration Broker. 9. Share knowledge to continuously improve implementation methodology Typical Software Used for Engagement: MS Platform including Outlook, Teams, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word and Tumbleweed and Oracle Products Typical Hardware Used for Engagement Data Center on VMs and Oracle RAC Mandatory qualifications: 1. 5 years of experience as a PeopleSoft 9.2 Campus Solutions Technical Senior developer. 2.8 years of experience with relevant technologies; for example, Application Designer, Application Engine, People Tools (8.58 or higher preferred), People Code, PeopleSoft Integration Broker, SQR, Change Assistant, Data Mover, Component Interface, and Process Scheduler. 3. 4 years of experience integrating with a diverse set of third-party systems used at CUNY. Must include three to four of the integration mentioned in the job description. (Such as Campus Logic, Course Dog, Akademos) 4. 8 years of experience working with all project phases (Initiation, fit/gap, configuration, development, and testing), with an emphasis on project initiation. 5. 2 years of experience in the higher education industry and/or public sector. 6. 8 years of excellent analytical, communication, writing, and presentation skills, including the ability to translate complex technical issues into understandable reports, updates, and proposals for solutions. 7. 7 years of experience within a multi-institutional PeopleSoft environment.
